My Cricut Craft Room's December 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

You should have come from Connie's blog, if not please start at the beginning http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/

This has been a VERY interesting week, to say the least. I had to go out of town at the last minute and it was quite unexpected.... I didn't even bring a SINGLE CRICUT MACHINE with me.... you know it was unexpected if I didn't bring one. So I will return home Monday around lunch time. I am going to stay up until all orders have been shipped, or those that I have been waiting to get, I will email you an update.

For now.... I keep getting the run around for the Hello Kitty cartridges, I am going to refund your purchase. I have already paid for this, so if they DO send them I will contact you then. It has been more than a month since my last update from them. Santa's Village is still not in stock with ProvoCraft wholesale. Please realize Provo Craft Wholesale and Cricut.com are not connected as far as ordering goes. For example cricut.com has the Mini Machine in stock, but ProvoCraft Wholesale does NOT yet. They are shipped to them separately and everything. So one does not affect the other. I have seen things instock with ProvoCraft Wholesale and NOT on cricut.com so please don't think these are the same. On that note, there is no tracking attached to my ProvoCraft Wholesale orders. Basically when it is delivered that is when I find out IF it has been shipped and WHAT exactly has been shipped. I order items that they actually have in stock, but sometimes by the time they ship something.... it is not longer in stock. I cannot control this, and it is frustrating to me. I am not going to only carry what is in stock. I will no longer offer pre-orders. This is very sad to me, but so many people are upset because they have waited 4+ weeks to get an item. This is totally out of my hands.... so, I will order it when it is IN STOCK with ProvoCraft Wholesale.
As of right now:
Mini should ship to me sometime in the next week. That will go out as soon as it comes in.
The E2 has shipped to me (I have no tracking to me yet, but it has been processed by them)
The 'Tis the season has not been confirmed shipped yet.
The Santa's Village Cartridge is not expected to ship until LATE December.

Because the cartridges have not been confirmed yet. I can offer a refund for these items, or you can continue to wait for them.
Santa's Village, 'Tis the Season,
Hello Kitty Greetings, Hello Kitty Font
Please send me an email if you would like a refund for these 3 cartridges ONLY. All other orders are not eligible for a refund as they have all been ordered, paid for and I am just waiting for them to arrive. EricaCraftRoom@aol.com and please put the name of the cartridge as the subject. All other orders will be shipped on  Monday or you will get a shipping update late in the evening on Monday.

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend, only 21 more days until Christmas!

Erica's Craft Room Recipe & Baking Blog Hop

You should have come from Beckie's Blog

I started out to make a card .... and ended up with a Scrapbook page.....
Tomorrow you will see the other pages and this one finished using Flower Shoppe, Paper Lace, Phrases and a few other Cricut Cartridges.

So far I have used Word Collage cut at 5" for the phrase.
I used From My Kitchen to cut the Recipe Cards at 4 1/2"

This is to show you how I lined up the pages

I am going to make 2 different sized pages. Here is what it will look like on the inside.

Here is what it will look like in the book

I cut this at 5" from Word Collage Cricut Cartridge.

After I cut the brown paper with the ice cream, I used my Tweezer Bees and took all of the little pieces and applied them to the page.

Make sure you stop back TOMORROW to see more of this!

This all was made using Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth Papers, which is today's blog candy and will be for sale in my store Thursday for my HUGE Black Friday sale.... Yes on Thursday ;)

Erica's Craft Room 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

I wanted to show you a technique today. I took Bright colored paper and made it match a more rustic looking collection. I still have been unser the weather. But this week on Ustream Wednesday 9pm EST I will show you how to take ten minutes and make any paper match your collection.... an economic way to get your own 'fancy' papers!

Just a sneak peek of how to do it!

I started with Jillibean Soup paper which is BRIGHT colored,
sorta of something my daughter would pick out.

You can see how this does NOT match the muted beige colors in the paper on the right and left.

I took SmoochSpritz it looks brown but it is actually a soft gold

You can see with the Paper towels the overspray of the SmoochSpritz.

After I prayed it I quickly took paper towels and rubbed it in and made it evenly dispursed over the paper.

This was what it looked like right after I sprayed it, you have to quickly take your paper towel and spread it all over the paper, y wiping it quickly.

After I achieved the color I wanted. I used the Shimmer spray to give the paper a finishing touch of shimmer to match the shimmer on the paper I was trying to MATCH.

On the left is the original paper and on the right is my modified paper. I will show you the rest of this project on Wednesday!

Please forgive me that I do not have a finished project. I am still adjusting to this new medication and I am struggling with it..... I am hiring a few people to help me with the webstore. So hopefully I can get back to crafting VERY soon! Happy Hopping.... Next is my Blog Candy to sign up for the giveaways!
